GET INVOLVED

The San Jose Mercury News 2018 Bay Area festivals and fairs guide identifies some of the many exciting events. If you're planning to attend and want to share with local Tbirds to get a group together, it's a simple 2-step process.

1) Post a note on the Facebook Thunderbird Silicon Valley Chapter page.

2) Contact one of us, so our team can help you spread the word.

Our Silicon Valley Thunderbird community has been enjoying First Tuesdays at terrific spots around the Bay Area. Most recently, Tbird graduate Dorote Lucci graciously volunteered to be the Thunderbird Ambassador to host June First Tuesday at Calave, a Palo Alto wine bar and had a great turnout. If you want to know anything about mindfulness, she'd be a great person to connect with.

We'd love to try out some new places and get more local Tbirds and friends involved. Do you have a potential First Tuesday hot spot with tasty food and drink that you'd love to check out? Make it happen in two easy steps.

1) Choose location/date and share with us.

2) Be the Tbird Ambassador who welcomes folks from 6:30-8:30pm. (Bonus points for attending early, taking photos, gathering contact details and ensuring the night closes out smoothly.)

WHAT'S NEXT

We're working on some social and professional events this year that you can look forward to, including a blind wine tasting event, Sunday night bowling at Bowlmor in Cupertino on August 19th (rsvp here), and a VC panel on how to pitch to venture capitalists in the fall. If there are additional activities that you'd like to see, let us know know what you have in mind and how you could help to make it happen.

Thanks!
